The goal here is to make a notebook that will travel the world, letting people from everywhere share a bit of themselves.

...This is certainly a work in progress.

General Community Rules:

-Membership is moderated.
-Members must be 16yrs+.
-For those of you under 18, please make sure that this is okay with your parents. I would hate for anything negative to come from this.
-Members must be dedicated to the cause. This is vital. Whithout compleate dedication this book is likely to be misplaced and lost forever.
-Keep in mind that you will be required to pay postage upon sending the notebook.
-Please email me with your address and lj user name within one week of being accepted as a member.
-To cut down on risks, please do not post your address directly in any post.
-Please post an introduction as soon as possible after being accepted. Use the following:
Random Fact About Yourself:
Favorite Quote:
(optional) A photo of yourself, located behind an lj-cut.

If you do not know how to use an lj cut, instructions are listed here:

A Word On Posting:
-Keep posts on topic. Anything deemed off topic will be swiftly removed by yours truely.
-Keep your posts legible! 'Net speak' will not be tolerated.
-Promotions for other notebook communities are acceptable, but must be posted behind an lj-cut!
-And I repeat, do not post your address anywhere in the community. I will take care of this when the time comes. This is for your own safety.

The Notebook Itself:

-Upon receiving the journal, post asap and let us know it got to you safely! Let us know where you are located and what kind of condition the book is in. Make sure you mention any type of damage you may find.
-Take up one to three full pages about yourself. Please fill the page completely so that each person has at least one page purely for themselves.
-When making your entry dont forget to include your lj user name and your location (a picture of yourself would also be apriciated)!
-Make your contribution to the notebook creative and beautiful. Paste in pictures, share a secret, tell your story, write a poem, make a collage, showcase your art...dont limit yourself in any way.
-Although I encourage everyone to take their time, I ask that you please keep the notebook in your possession for no longer than two weeks. However, I understand that sometimes because of money issues, or other things this request cannot be met. If anything comes up email me at dark_winged_pixie(at)hotmail(dot)com and simply let me know of the issues at hand.
-Post again when you have sent the book out in the mail so that we can know when we can expect to see it again!
